This morning, van slipped on the floor at dance class and broke his tibia.The good news: no spica cast
The bad news: no weight on his broken tibia for 6 weeks.
In other words, by the time he gets this one off, he will have spent 1/4 of his third year of life in a cast. Not awesome.

oh my gosh! my jaw literally just dropped! poor Van. I hope he is feeling ok and that this trend ends for him soon.

You are kidding me! I mean, I know the title includes the phrase "this is not a joke" but come on! So sorry to hear. He will be getting it off right about the time we are out there visiting. Hopefully we will be able to see him run around and be crazy. Maybe no more craziness for him for a little while though.

Such a beautiful, good natured little guy! Heard about it first on FB. Couldn't believe it. As Gordon said, it's a good thing there are always witnesses to these things. He's a champ. As is his ma & pa. Drink more milk:D
