Today

I'm 31.

So far I preferred being 30.

Since we currently have a broken camera and a flip that is missing in action... you may be waiting a while for visual entertainment.

There's much to report between Christmas, a trip to NY and my enormous belly...

But as a brief update, Vanny is thriving. He has learned the powerful effect of tantrums. He is also suddenly quite communicative. He talks nonstop, and every once in a while says something we understand.

Our latest favorite is "Hoo-yay!" whenever he's pleased about anything. It's enough to make up for the tantrums. Almost.

Happy B-Day. Nice to see you back on the blog. You guys never answer your phone so we didn't get to talk yesterday and wish you a happy day personally, but we hope you had a good one. Did you get the text? And we can't wait to see that "enormous belly". ;)
Reggie misses you all...I think. It's hard to tell. He's adopted Cherry and is her shadow when she's home. Otherwise he just lays on the top cushion of the futon in the conversation room watching out the front window for her to come home from work. It's funny and pathetic at the same time. He'll be gald to see you guys.

(Did that hurt you to cut Van's curls? It was so hard to cut Jameson's off when he was that age... And then all of the sudden they look so much older. Makes my mama-heart surge for a moment. What a fun age he is-- even with the tantrums. The entertainment value alone is priceless.)

the best way to handle a tantrum is to give them whatever they want.

Happy belated! Wishing you all the best for a wonderful year. It's certainly starting out big, on more ways then one! Double the pleasure.

Happy (very) belated birthday. How are the twins doing? Have you found out for sure if they're girls?
